Before…
Overwhelmed, alone, struggling with symptoms of burnout. You’re not getting the back-up you need at your job.
You’re confused about how to support some of your clients, but who’s there to support you?
Even after graduation…
Whether you are a new therapist or have been a therapist for many years, it is normal to feel unsure about your therapy skills.
Sometimes, you still feel lost – overwhelmed.
Supervision at work usually consists of a brief check-in with a focus on your documentation and how many clients you are seeing a week – time spent on your cases is brief. Whether in private practice, an agency setting, or even in a group practice, therapy can feel isolating.
You want someone to see, hear, and support you.
To discuss the complex needs of your clients, how they impact you, and what to do next.
Who is consultation for?
It’s perfect for mental health professionals – including social workers, counselors, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, and healers.
You might be a new therapist or an experienced therapist who wants professional support.
How can professional consultation help you?
Consultation is a space for you to heal, grow, and be in community.
Imagine developing a holistic understanding of your unique clients, increasing your confidence about your clinical skills, and strengthening your intuition about who you are as a therapist and the gifts you bring to this work
What you’ll get from consultation…
This is a space for you to discuss your clinical cases, dig deeper into client diagnoses, presenting issues, interventions, transference and countertransference dynamics, and personal feelings.
I’ll provide a space where you can receive professional support, become more confident about your role as a therapist, and grow personally as you discuss and learn from your experiences.
Consultation with me is different. I have over 10 years of experience as a therapist, group facilitator, and supervisor as a licensed clinical social worker. You do not have to hide or mask any of your feelings or experiences here.
With consultation you will feel rejuvenated to continue your healing work and confident as you develop into the kind of therapist you want to be!
After…
After processing your experiences with your diverse clients, you’re newly inspired!
Increasingly competent with your clinical skills, aware of new and different interventions you can use with clients, knowledgeable about holistic and intuitive practices to use in sessions, you feel confident, supported, and ready to resume doing what you do best.
