About

So many calls I get go something like this…

“I am calling because I need someone to talk to. I have worn out my husband/partner/family/friends.”

“I have some things I have been through, and I think it’s time to talk with someone about my past.”

“I’m always listening to others and helping them, but I usually never ask for help.”

“I’m having issues in my relationship; we argue all the time, and things are getting worse.”

You’re doing your best to feel better, but it’s just not working.

Therapy will help create distance from your problems – will help you get the perspective you need to start to make choices using your intuition, awareness, and clarity.

Most people don’t ever get to experience safely sharing everything about themselves – the messy emotions, confusion, and inner knowledge of what’s working and what’s not.

Therapy offers you that opportunity.

Full transparency and a positive connection with your therapist are essential for healing. In this space, you’ll experience the permission to be who you are – possibly, for the first time.

Not all therapists are the same –

A strong relationship with your therapist is essential. There’s a sort of magic involved in working with someone you truly connect with.

In my healing process as a client, student, therapist, and healer, I’ve found that a combination of coping skills, holistic approaches, and that unique chemistry with the right therapist is transformational.

You can learn to modify negative patterns that have been getting in your way, heal emotional wounds, and start to take actions to live the life you want.

Rediscover the joy of who you are and the life you love!

A little bit about me…

I received my master’s in social work, with an emphasis in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies, at Loyola University in Chicago. I’ve also completed additional training in trauma work, relationships, anxiety disorders, mindfulness, movement, animal therapy, holistic healing, and art therapy.

Although I worked as a therapist in Chicago for nine years and loved the Windy City, my love for my family and missing warm weather brought me back to California in 2017.

Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families, adults, and couples.

I integrate who I am with my clinical training, evidence-based practices, and intuitive healing approaches to personalize the best treatment for you. To end each therapy session, I use a special healing process incorporating affirmation, angel or oracle cards, and essential oils for grounding and setting intentions for the week ahead.

My diverse training and professional work in hospitals, schools, community mental health, and private practice have challenged, inspired, and shaped me into the therapist I am today.

In addition to being a therapist, I’m also a writer, ballroom dancer, human rights advocate, and animal lover.
