My Approach

You are not meant to struggle with life’s challenges alone

Aloneness can lead to physical and emotional illness and an increase of suffering. It is does not make you weak to ask for help. It shows that you are strong, brave and HUMAN.

We start by acknowledging the courage it takes to show up and ask for help, and it is a privilege for me to be the one who supports you on your journey to wellness, self-growth, self-compassion, and transformation.

You will feel cared for deep within your bones

I am a relational therapist, meaning the connection we have in therapy is meant to be felt. As you feel seen, heard, safe and secure we co-create an environment rich and ready for you to heal.

As you share what has been unexpressed, the things that don’t usually get felt or celebrated, we are actually helping to rewire your brain to heal from trauma, unresolved pain, grief, anxiety and depression. That is how powerful a healthy and healing relationship can be!

You’ll come to understand your sense of self and what makes you feel fulfilled. Together we will see you more clearly and listen to all the parts of you ready to have a voice, wanting to be understood and those that are ready for change. We will also set specific goals with guided actions to support you in various parts of your life.

There are so many possibilities of how to express yourself

I am not your typical therapist. I strive to create a safe space for you to share your story. I also will invite you to express yourself through art, meditation, visualization, writing, movement, and spiritual practices as we continue to work together.

I will join with you; you are not doing this alone. I will be curious about your experience, how you feel about what you are working through, how to use your body to access your knowledge, support you as we mindfully go to difficult spaces, and ultimately guide you back to the brilliant, strong, wise, and empowered you within.

Before the session ends, you can choose an affirmation card, angel card, or oracle card, which often helps to deepen the themes that come up and can be an additional tool of support for the week ahead.
