It’s been a week since your last therapy session… There’s so much to talk about.
And instead of battling the traffic to and from home, you cozy up in your chair, open your laptop, and enter the waiting room for your online teletherapy session.
What is teletherapy?
Through teletherapy, you can participate in your therapy session from the comfort of your own home or any private space where you have access to Wi-Fi and a device.
Sessions are usually 60 minutes – the same as an in-office session – but with the convenience of a secure online video platform.
Why choose teletherapy?
First of all, it’s convenient! No more excuses about being too busy – therapy from home helps balance all the things you need to get done with a little extra time for your own self-care.
Second, it’s effective! Just as much so as in-person therapy. I’ll still hear, see, and support you as you process your thoughts and feelings and work toward reaching your personalized goals.
What’s more, it can be a great addition to your treatment if you need a session but can’t make it to the office – or if you’re struggling with child-care.
Though, online, you won’t be able to use my essential oils after sessions, you’re welcome to use your own.
And I’ll still have the option of using affirmation cards to end sessions and will send you a picture of your message to use as inspiration for the week ahead!
